Was bleibt

is a participatory work on transience:

What is left of us if we do not live anymore? Many have the desire to preserve their existence, to make their lived existence visible. By participating in this work it is possible one day to be in the museum with your own hair and name. The deal? The participant picks a place in bed, gets paid, and gets two test tubes. In the empty one’s own hair is filled, and this occupies the chosen place. For this, the glass filled with hair of the artist has to give way and is handed over together with a wall mount. The seats are limited to 100. On the list of participants and the map all names will be displayed in exhibitions and later in the museum.

ist eine partizipatorische Arbeit zum Thema Vergänglichkeit:

Was bleibt von uns, wenn wir nicht mehr leben? Viele haben den Wunsch ihr Dasein zu konservieren, ihre gelebte Existenz sichtbar zu machen. Mit der Teilnahme an dieser Arbeit ist es möglich eines Tages mit den jeweils eigenen Haaren und dem Namen im Museum zu sein. Der Deal? Die teilnehmende Person sucht sich einen Platz im Bett aus, bezahlt, und bekommt zwei Reagenzgläser. In das leere werden die eigenen Haare gefüllt, und dieses nimmt den ausgesuchten Platz ein. Dafür muss das mit Haaren der Künstlerin gefüllte Glas weichen, und wird zusammen mit einer Wandhalterung übergeben. Die Plätze sind auf 100 begrenzt. Auf der Teilnehmerliste und dem Lageplan werden alle Namen in Ausstellungen und später im Museum zu lesen sein.

Diese Arbeit ist für den internationalen Blooom Award unter 2.800 Bewerbern nominiert.
